Click2Scan have a new business, Knowology, based in central Bath. Knowology is a specialist software and consulting business concentrating on document processing technologies and business process engineering. We build software for our clients and work with existing technologies to deliver complex solutions that integrate with other platforms.
Knowology would like to create a new apprentice consultant role in our organisation. You will develop as a customer facing software developer and business consultant, working predominantly from our Bath office but with opportunities to travel to client offices across the South West and in London.
We will be supporting you in the government sponsored Advanced IT Apprenticeship for Software and Web Developers leading you to a City & Guilds level 3 diploma and Microsoft Technology Associate. You will receive at least 7 weeks of Microsoft training in your first 10 months
The role we have in mind is as follows:
- Consult with our clients to understand their needs and report your (our) findings back to them
- Develop software, largely using the .NET platform for collecting, processing and reporting data
- Integrate our software with client's own systems and with other software platforms
- Use existing applications such as ABBYY Flexicapture to extract, verify and manipulate data
- Take responsibility for our own website and forthcoming app store
The ideal candidate...
- Will be a confident and friendly person, able communicate well with new people
- Will have good report writing skills and an eye for detail
- Will be able to demonstrate applications and websites they have written and published
- Will have a passion for learning and a desire to succeed
Entry to the apprenticeship scheme requires that you have
- 5 Grade C or higher GCSE's including Maths & English
- 2 Grade C or higher A-Levels

Your friends will be going to University or may already be there. You feel though that on-the-job training is better for you and you trust your ambitions. If you are prepared to learn then we are prepared to teach you and would love for you to be part of our team.
We will pay you £150 per week to start with and will review your package after 3 months. We want you to succeed and will offer you a performance based bonus. You will receive very valuable Microsoft training during your apprenticeship and will be mentored by an experienced consultant. Expect to be earning very good money well before your friends have even graduated!

Click2Scan are a rapidly growing software and services company based in Mere. We provide document management solutions for customers across the UK as well as a range of services around the field of the paper-less office.
We are keen to recruit an apprentice on the government sponsored scheme where we can have a young person train and develop their IT skills. The role we have in mind is as follows:
- Provide remote access IT support for our customers
- Write programs and utilities for us using Microsoft .NET, Javascript, etc
The ideal candidate will...
- Have an absolute passion for all things IT
- Will be able to demonstrate programs and code they have written already
- Will have already written and published some web sites
- Have a good (Grade C or higher) GCSE in Maths & English
- Have at least 2 Grade C + A Levels
- You may be a geek, that's OK, but we need you to be friendly and have good communication skills.

In return we will pay you £120 per week and you will then work 4 days a week with the 5th day either spent at college or preferablly taking Microsoft certitied training around .NET programming and Microsoft server applications.
We will then increase your salary as you grow in our busines and within 2 - 3 years expect you to be earning graduate level wages of £20,000 + per annum.
