Books & Magazine Scanning 

We scan many books and bound historic documents for clients. Where two copies of the original are available we recommend using one of the copies and guillotining off the spine for ease, speed and  cost. This clearly doesn't suit every client, but for those that can afford to lose one copy of a book this does allow us to scan each page double sided and digitally recreate the book or magazine.

Alternatively, where the document is of historic value and/or cannot be defaced, we carefully scan each page (up to A2) using a high quality flatbed scanner.

Searchable & OCR

Once scanned we can make the text of the book or magazine searchable. Using the built in search tool in your pdf viewer (by the way, we love Foxit PDF for its simplicity) you can search for words or phrases and jump straight to that section. In addition, we can re-create the whole book in Word or RTF.
